Le Tigre

A historic Strasbourg brewery

Le Tigre reopened its doors in 2018 in association with the historic Tigre Bock brand. A place steeped in history, Le Tigre long enlivened Strasbourg's days and evenings until the 1960s.

By bringing this historic “outlet” up to date in 2018, we wanted to contribute to the renaissance of Alsace's heritage.

The mingling of populations, inseparable from the original spirit of the establishment, takes place in new ways of conviviality in a varied range of spaces and atmospheres: the bar and its counter (the Petit Tigre), the restaurant under the large Art Deco period dome (the Grand Tigre), the terrace and its small garden and finally the cellar, the brewing room until 1920.

The art of brewing beer: beer made on the premises was already being tasted in the early days of Le Tigre in 1795. This art is back at the heart of the premises. The “Fabrique Tigre Bock” allows us to offer, according to the seasons and the inspiration of the Master Brewers, brews created on site and only available at Le Tigre.

On the plate, Alsace also takes pride of place: you can enjoy a real tarte flambée cooked over a wood fire. Le Tigre is a member of the Confrérie du Véritable Flàmmeküeche. Most of the products delivered to Le Tigre come from Alsace, whenever possible. With this in mind, we've teamed up with a number of local producers to offer a wide range of products.
